We know you're itching to know more about GCTV. Here are some answers to common questions.

How does GCTV work?

GCTV's classic image feed is the same concept as other AW television stations. A URL points to an image which periodically updates, creating a slide show television effect.

How can I get my advertisement on GCTV?

Just visit our promote page. That page contains both ads for GCTV and information on submitting your ads for rotation on GCTV.

Why isn't the picture changing while I view GCTV in AW?

This could mean there is a problem with the server or your connection. If you viewed GCTV live on gctvaw.com in your web browser while AW was open, this sometimes prevents in-world displays from updating. Closing the live web view and restarting AW should solve this problem.

Why don't you "broadcast" in streaming media?

GCTV ocassionally expirements with video streaming on the web. You can see these feeds on the gctvaw.com homepage or on the Tune In page. Currently, no video channel is available for in-world use as we feel this medium is unstable. We are still considering ways to make greater use of audio/video in AW television.
