GCTV was established in 2001 by citizen GC. He has owned and operated the network since. GCTV airs original programs in addition to dissolved network archives.

GCTV has seen the introduction of many staff and shows during its history. Recently, GCTV was semi-acquired by Support AW in a partnership that would give GCTV a web site, domain, and hosting.
